We have had another short week but there has still been plenty of activity. Nursery have continued their topic on patterns, looking at sequences and using lego to make their own. Reception have been learning all about meerkats whilst Year 1 have been impressing their teachers with their multiplication skills. Year 2 have had a go at some gardening and have enjoyed seed planting. Year 3 have been raising money for Lunchbowl this week and we have seen a variety of colourful pyjamas this afternoon at their pyjama party. A huge congratulations to our Year 4 tennis team who, competed along with 15 other schools, and won the Yr3/4 Mini Red Tennis competition at Surbiton Racket and Fitness Club yesterday. They have now been selected to represent Kingston at the London Youth Games in July which is an amazing achievement. You can see photos of these and more in the attached newsletter.

PTA Request – Summer Fair Sponsorship Boards
Thank you to those who have already responded to our previous pleas for addresses to display a SeOUL Residential sponsorship board. We are still short on addresses, so if you can help the school secure the largest single sponsorship from our generous donor, please email your name and address to email@example.com by tomorrow.
Sponsored Readathon – Juniors
A reminder that this term at the juniors there is a sponsored readathon. Your child should have come home with an information leaflet. You can sponsor your child online at https://readathon.secure.force.com/sponsor. There is a £10 National Book Token for the child who raises the most money!
Request for tyres for seating at the junior field
We are looking for donations of 8 -10 tyres to help create some outdoor seating at our junior field. We have 3 x 3m scaffold boards and would like to create benches by supporting them with these tyres. If you feel you can help, or indeed have other ideas to support these boards, please contact either office.
Parent Rep Meeting
The next Parent Rep meeting will be on Friday 17th May at 2pm in the Infant Staff Room. Please let your Rep know about anything you have appreciated or any queries before next Friday.
Recycle with Michael
Thank you to everyone who brought in their unwanted clothes and shoes for Recycle with Michael last term. We managed to collect 490kg of clothing and shoes raising valuable funds for The Salvation Army and £57.58 for our School.
Next week is SATs week for Year 6. Well done to all the children who have been working so hard towards these and I am sure all their efforts will be rewarded next week. Good luck!
