Dear Parents/Carers,

Hot Weather

The hot weather is lovely, and the children are enjoying playing outside. It is important that children are protected from the effects of the sun, so please ensure that your child brings in a sunhat or cap, every day, and that you encourage them to have plenty to drink. We understand that it will be even hotter next week and would encourage you to put sunscreen on your children before the start of the day.

Clubs’ Survey

When you visit the juniors before or after school, you might see children singing, cheerleading, playing cricket, netball or football, playing in an orchestra or doing drama, gymnastics or dance. We are constantly reviewing the clubs that we offer and we would like to know what you think. Please click below to access the survey.

Please complete the survey by the end of Monday.

New Malden Fun Run – Saturday 1st July 2017

The Malden Fortnight Fun Run is a free to enter 5km Fun Run which will take place in Beverley Park at 9am on Saturday 1st July 2017. It is being organised by parents, Sue Wilson, Pete Bodley-Scott and Emma Holloway.

There will also be a Kids 100m Dash for children which will start after the last runner of the 5km event has crossed the finish line. They have normally been many Christ Church children taking part.

The run is raising money for the St George’s Hospital Neuro Appeal. The appeal was launched last October with the aim of raising equipment considered above normal NHS provision but will make a huge difference to the quality of patients’ lives.

Best wishes,
